Shar developed a strong interest in baking in 1976 when she was working for a retail store in Ogden, UT. She has a natural talent and desire to demonstrate and teach people how to prepare more nutritious meals in the home. After 9 years of working for someone else, she ventured out on her own.

She first started in her home and soon after opened a small 700 sq ft store in Layton, UT. In June 1987 she had to opportunity to purchase a Magic Mill in Glendale, AZ., so her husband Dave and 3 of her 4 children moved to Phoenix. They soon moved the store to a bigger location and the name was changed to Shar’s Bosch Kitchen Center. They stayed in that location for 8 years and then moved the store to a 3500 sq ft. Phoenix location. In addition to the Phoenix store in 2003 they opened another store in Gilbert, AZ. Both stores offer free classes and free demonstrations each week.

Shar and Dave have both build the business together and truly love what they do. In their spare time they enjoy being with family and loving on their 18 grandchildren ranging in age of 1-19 years of age.
